WHO ARE WE?

The South African Youth Economic Council is a youth-led economic and legal advocacy group that promotes youth participation and integration in the economy.


We seek to create and promote a transformed economy where youth become central to economic growth and job creation.

OUR WORK

ADVOCACY

SAYEC ensures that economic interest of young people are represented in various government, business and civil society organisations.

POLICY RECOMMENDATIONS

Through rigorous research and grassroots activism, we advise the public and private sector on legal and economic policy decisions that work to integrate young people into mainstream economy

EVENTS & DIALOGUES

SAYEC regularly hosts and curates events and dialogues addressing pertinent youth economic issues, to draw diverse perspectives from all South Africans.

To the youth of today, I also have a wish to make: be the scriptwriters of your destiny and feature yourselves as stars that showed the way towards a brighter future.
