2023 Annual Jobs Imbizo

The Jobs Imbizo is an annual conference hosted by the South African Youth Economic Council, convening stakeholders from strategic sectors of the South African economy to discuss mass employment creation opportunities in those sectors.

Youth unemployment in South Africa currently sits at 32.9% according to Stats SA and predominant portion of young people who make up this alarming rate are those whose skills range from low to semi-skilled. As such, our economy must stimulate labour absorptive capacity through our labour intensive industries and through business.
